Phantogram - "Mouthful of Diamonds (Alan Wilkis remix)"

Everyone seems to be channeling the 80's sound these days, and Alan Wilkis' remix of Phantogram's "Mouthful of Diamonds" nicely fits the bill as a throwback. The beginning of the song sounds like the theme song to a Nickelodeon show that I can't remember. It's up-beat, light, and they throw some choice Biggie samples in there. Thanks to Skipster for the link.

Gui Boratto - "Beautiful Life"

Last year, "No Turning Back" by Gui Boratto was easily my top played song. It's another one of his amazing, winding tracks that never get old. "Beautiful Life" is no exception. Give it time to build up, and you won't regret it. After a long and wonderful night of drinking, dancing and substance abuse, it's the perfect way to end a set or wind down as you cruise home in the wee hours of the morning.

Pryda - "Miami to Atlanta"

House, house, house, house. Try and get enough of it, I dare you. Pryda (aka Eric Prydz) has been doing this shit for years, and it shows. Everyone has heard Call On Me at least one time in their life- realistically, it's probably more like one thousand times. This is the original mix of "Miami To Atlanta", and it's fucking sweet. Any Deadmau5 fans out there can easily see the influence Prydz has had on him.

Temper Trap - "Sweet Disposition (Axwell & Dirty South Remix)"

If you know what Yacht Week is, then you've already heard this song. This remix of Temper Trap's "Sweet Disposition" has been out for a while now, but it's just so damn good that I still feel the need to put it up.

Lemon Jelly - "Lost Horizons"

Every now and then you come across something amazing without even looking. Lemon Jelly's album "Lost Horizons" was one of those things. It appeared in my car on a drive down to the beach, thanks to Davey Doublestuf, and has literally not left my CD player since. Lemon Jelly is an electronic duo from Britain who haven't done anything together for almost a decade now, and although I'm not even sure I have the title of their album correct here, it doesn't matter. It's super-stoney blissed-out electro-trip-hop for sunny days, with plenty of catchy hooks and a lot of good grooves. Just download all the tracks, I promise there won't be a single one you don't like.

Senor Coconut & His Orchestra - "Sweet Dreams (Cha Cha Cha)"

This is another perfect summer song for out at the pool. If you can imagine what would come out of the Buena Vista Social Club meeting the Eurythmics, then you've just imagined this song. It's great. Graci to Et Musique Pour Tous for the link.

Pure Ecstasy - "Pressure Drop"

Possibly the most relaxed version of a reggae song I've ever heard. Covering Toot's and the Maytals "Pressure Drop" is Pure Ecstasy, a three piece from Austin who have got the low-fi sound down. Perfect for hazy days out at the pool, so light up and listen up...

Young Empires - "Rain Of Gold"

Canadian trio Young Empire do it right with this new track. It's happy head-bobbing music you can get down to; plus, I'm pretty sure that's a pan-flute they're playing over the bass.

Download - This is only the demo, hopefully they'll release a final cut soon.

Mt. Eden Dubstep - "Let Go (Beauty In the Breakdown)"

I feel like Mt. Eden picks one of my favorite songs every time they do a mix. Simply put, if you liked their version of Hide & Seek, just get this track.

The Grateful Dead - "Shakedown Street (Tommie Sunshine & Figure Brooklyn Fire Edit)

Wow, just wow. I never knew the dead were remix-able. This is jam with a great bass line, just wait for the drop half way through, you can't help but get up and move. Thanks to Davey Doublestuf for this one.

Picture Book - "Sunshine"

I'll be the first to admit my love for Cascada (and every other catchy pop-house outfit with a female singer). I know it's wrong. However, this single by the U.K group Picture Book steps that entire genre up a notch- Just try not liking this, I dare you.

Tiesto & Diplo - "C'Mon"

Fresh from the vine is this Tiesto & Diplo collaboration. Part Diplo-y-dub-step, part Tiesto-house-y-ness, it's 100% epic. This is the first I've ever heard of them doing anything together, but one can only hope they become BFF's4L.
