First come, First Serve

De La Soul's Plug 1 & Plug 2 are now based in Paris and have transformed into First Serve, setting funk phazers to full blast.  "Must B The Music" is the first single along with the Goon Time Mixtape, which you can download for free while looking at their tumblr, which is a treasure chest of great random shit.

Summer Camp

Last Thursday was orientation at Camp Weld, a month-long celebration of the better things in life.  Someone hired three Traktor S4 escorts for the weekend, and things got pretty steamy.  The summer solstice is in three days, Electric Forest is in 9, and Grey Fox is in 2 weeks; good things are coming.

Edward Sharpe, Beats Antique, Sigur Rós & Drop Out Orchestra

I've been listening to Here on repeat since I bought it yesterday morning, and 9 tracks is just not enough.  But Little Daylight has temporarily resolved this issue with a supplemental addition to the album.  Inspired Flight also released a remix this morning, collaborating with Scarub of Living Legends fame, to mix Beats Antique's "Cat Skillz".  Drop Out Orchestra also just dropped their June 2012 Mix.

Sigur Rós has announced a Mystery Film Experiment, and will release one music video for each track on Valtari every week or so following the album's US release date.  Check out the first video for "Ég anda'", and keep an eye out for the rest of them on the Valtari videos page.  Also, if it helps at all, "Ég anda'" translates into "I breathe".
