Trey Parker and Matt Stone have consistently been responsible for some of the funniest animations (and one broadway play) over the last decade, but in 2007 they also started a lesser known production company, FurryCarlos Productions, that they've been using to animate old archived recordings of Alan Watts. Trey Parker was taught Zen Buddhism as a kid and these are a sort of homage to Watts. Read the 2006 interview from Reason and watch the animations over here.
Mississippi John Hurt is great.
Bob Weir & The Roots played a benefit for Headcount this past weekend, and were joined by Grace Potter, Warren Haynes and Trey Pistachio. The first set is solo acoustic by Weir, and the rest of the show is an awesome medley of super jams, Pish covers, and a "Whipping Post" encore. Thank you to The Barn Presents for hosting.
